Partnerships
Western Travel Journal considers collaborations that serve readers interested in thoughtful, resourceful travel across the western United States. Proposals should explain the subject, audience fit, format and the commercial relationship involved.
Relevant collaborations
We may consider clearly defined collaborations such as a commissioned travel feature, an editorially independent interview, a useful resource placement or a clearly separated partner feature. Every proposal is assessed for relevance, accuracy, reader value and fit with the publication's subject.
Partner placements
We accept proposals for clearly labelled partner placements across the website where the material is relevant to readers. Placement does not imply an endorsement, and we do not accept content that disguises advertising as independent editorial work or makes unsupported claims.
Labelling and proposals
Paid or partner-created material is identified clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. To propose a collaboration, use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, audience and any relevant commercial details.
Travel well by noticing more and carrying less
A good trip need not be expensive or tightly scheduled. We value sound preparation, adaptable plans and attention to the places a journey passes through.
